The Dark Knight star Christian Bale will non be charged over an alleged rape upon his mother and sister, it has been revealed.
Prosecutors aforesaid on Thursday there was insufficient evidence for the 34-year-old to face a realistic prospect of conviction.
Bale, who reprises the Caped Crusader use he low played in Batman Begins in The Dark Knight, was questioned by police force after his mother and sister claimed he assaulted them at a central London hotel.
"We can today confirm that we make advised the Metropolitan police service that the player Christian Bale should not face whatsoever charges following an incident which occurred in relative to his mother and sister at the Dorchester hotel on July 21st this year," a command from the crown prosecution service said.
The British player had been in the capital for the European premiere of the superhero blockbuster and was arrested and bailed the following day.
He has become one of the most desired stars following his turns as Batman, which followed performances in Empire of the Sun, American Psycho, Equilibrium and The Machinist.
